About Esteban Rivera

I'm Esteban Rivera, a Chilean Marketing Strategist and the current Chief Executive Officer of Mayana Chocolate. At the age of 16, I founded Visit Santiago on Instagram. The page's rapid growth and the numerous connections I made, led to the creation of a thriving business. I've always had a passion for filmmaking and storytelling, which naturally led me to study both films and marketing. There's always been a deep contemplation about my motivations, and I realized that my love for marketing and films comes from my desire to connect with people, make sense to people, captivate them with excellence and add value to them. From 2017 to 2020, I had the opportunity to work with Sky Costanera (Cencosud), LATAM Airlines, and Marriott in Santiago as clients under Visit Santiago. Marking the beginning of my journey in Chile. In 2021, I launched RVR Marketing in the United States and began working as a marketing consultant for various companies. In 2023, I took on Mayana Chocolate as a client one of the most exciting companies I've encountered in the Northern Hemisphere. At the start of 2024, I began serving as Chief Marketing Officer for Mayana, and in October 2024, I transitioned into the role of Chief Executive at Mayana Chocolate. Keys to leadership: Treat your people with respect, care for them, be direct when solving problems, and elevate those around you.
