Background

About Ethan Kuo

I am deeply passionate about the early value chain of the life sciences industry and the vast opportunities it presents. I am dedicated to supporting innovative scientific research across Europe, guiding projects from ideation through the critical "valley of death" in translation to maximize their value creation potential. My primary focus is on strategizing valorization routes and facilitating crucial connections between local and global stakeholders. With over 10 years of experience, I have a proven track record that spans academia, biotech R&D, venture capital, and technology transfer organizations (TTO). This diverse background, combined with a unique multicultural perspective and a robust network of local and international contacts, positions me to effectively bridge the gap between scientific discovery and its translation towards valorization.Currently, I am seeking business development and investment opportunities for discovery-stage assets in therapeutics, diagnostics, ag-food, and medtechs with VIB – a strategic life science research institute in Flanders, Belgium, and strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities with IIMCB in Warsaw, Poland.
