About Ethan Rumney

Ethan Rumney, 27 Years Old, Solihull, England. I grew up in Solihull, living here until the age of 23 years old. I started my customer service & construction career, growing and learning with my varied experiences between businesses and establishing new relationships. In May 2021, one of my childhood friends, Tomas, then suggested I move to Edinburgh with him. As i never lived away from home, I was curious and eager for new opportunities. I then went on a visit to Edinburgh in the summer of 2021, June, I fell in love with the city, moving in on the August for my fresh start. When I moved up to Edinburgh, my goals were simple; live and grow. During my time in Edinburgh, I have learned British Sign Language, currently awaiting results for my level 2 exam. I have also obtained my SIA license (Security Industry Authority) along with other qualifications that can be seen in my education section. I also had an amazing time getting to know myself, though hard times were present throughout. I needed therapy, so I got it. I had in total 2 years of private therapy, all funded by myself, to commit to my path to growth. This has helped me discover who I am, what I am capable of, my behaviors as well as address my past trauma and get myself on a path to progress and continued growth. Once I stopped this, I then was a regular participant at the Mens Mental Health charity, Andy's man club. Every Monday 7pm - 9pm was a haven for me and those other men in that time. I am back in Solihull now, committed and disciplined into continuing my personal journey for growth in all aspects. I am open to work and bring a friendly, approachable, kind aura to the places I am in. A small summary on my general character, I strongly value connection between myself & other human beings, I have previously volunteered for Solihull, young carers, I enjoy going to the cinema, meeting up with friends for board game days, and consuming new media including new music and reading new material on self help as well as visiting the gym. I am a slightly pedantic perfectionist that is eager to learn.
