A seasoned professional served as the executer and facilitator for the "Taiwan-Canada Innovative R&D Collaboration" and “Taiwan-Israel Innovative R&D Program,” responsible for planning and implementing the said programs on behalf of the Department of Industrial Technology (DOIT), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan -Provide business and political insights and assess for threats and opportunities for DOIT, communicate this intelligence to relevant local, regional or global colleagues and strategize advocacy and engagement approach-Provide constructive input and engagement with industry, foreign and local government stakeholders on existing and new R&D initiatives, with a view to ensure positive impact on bilateral business, and the expansion of new collaboration opportunities -Identifying partnership opportunities with the government and industry as well as ensuring ITRI is well positioned to take advantage of these opportunities with government agencies on potential government programs that may benefit for ITRI -Communicate, engage and manage relationships with necessary stakeholders including government affairs advisors, industry associations, and diplomatic missions -Lead development and implementation of an overall Taiwanese government’s international R&D engagement strategy on selected initiatives for Taiwanese industry -Coordinate DOIT officials’ overseas delegation and visiting agenda, as well as prepare proposed engagement strategy and talking points -Arrange promotion events such as seminars, workshops, and business matching to facilitate bilateral R&D collaboration -Fluent in English and Mandarin
