In my current role as Office Administrator for Mary Lou McDonald TD, and President of Sinn Féin, I take care of general administration and workflow in the office. Keeping track of the comings and goings of the office and helping to make sure that cooperation between wings of the party is smooth. In my previous role as the inter-parliamentary affairs co-coordinator for Sinn Féin in Leinster House, my role requires me to utilise my strong research and administrative skills to facilitate collaboration between different parliaments and political entities. My demonstrated history of working in the political administration, along with my experience in international relations and report writing, is invaluable in this role. My proficiency in quantitative research and critical thinking enables me to provide insightful analysis and recommendations to help guide decision-making processes. Additionally, my familiarity with the statistical programming language R allows me to conduct sophisticated data analysis. With my MSc in International Public Policy and Diplomacy from University College Cork, I have a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding of the complex issues facing the global community. This is an asset as I work to promote inter-parliamentary cooperation and engage in diplomatic negotiations with stakeholders. As an administrative professional, I have the organisational and management skills necessary to coordinate and manage expectations across multiple parliaments and political entities. Overall, my experience, skills, and education make me well-suited to take on the role of inter-parliamentary affairs co-coordinator and make a meaningful impact in promoting collaboration and diplomacy between different teams and political entities.
