Hi, I’m Evan! I'm a computer science student at MSOE, drawn to its innovative environment and cutting-edge resources, who loves exploring how technology can solve real-world problems. My journey into programming started in middle school, where I discovered AI and its incredible potential while researching Tesla’s Autopilot in my tech ed class. This curiosity grew in high school as I built games on Roblox and dove into Python and Java in my programming courses. Since then, I’ve been drawn to the exciting potential of AI. One of my favorite projects was using deep learning to analyze chest X-rays with pretrained models, culminating in a research paper that earned 3rd place for "Best Undergraduate Research Paper" at MICS 2024. That experience solidified my passion for AI’s ability to improve lives, and I’m eager to keep learning, researching, and contributing to innovative projects that make a difference.
