Background

About Evgeniy K.

I'm a full-stack web developer who delivers. I consider myself a responsible and meticulous worker, always ensuring tasks are completed with precision and on time. Dependability is a cornerstone of my work ethic. My decision to pursue programming wasn't even a decision; it was a seamless journey fueled by genuine interest. When I was in school, my dream was to create my own website. When I got my first computer, I started learning HTML. It was exciting to see how I could create something on the screen, put my own text in a browser title, and make links that would lead to other pages. My journey continued with CSS, CGI (fun fact: I wrote my first dynamic web page in Delphi), PHP, SQL. I was learning for the sake of learning, not even considering a career in programming back then. Programming came naturally to me. A few years later, I discovered Python. Its simplicity, power, and beauty amazed me. It was a match. For over a decade now, Python & Django have been at the core of my technical stack. My interest in web backend development has led me to explore related areas. Frontend development is a natural extension of backend development. I have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, and React.js. And, of course, I do server stuff also: Linux, Docker, Nginx, PostgreSQL are the tools of choice. Over the course of my 15-year career, I have worked on perhaps more than a hundred projects of a wide variety. I'm still amazed by how much you can do with code, excited to see how you can create something from nothing, and thrilled to see how you can make a computer do what you want. I believe I have good taste in things and I love making beautiful things. I enjoy writing beautiful code and crafting beautiful UIs. I have a solid understanding of how to create websites that are fast, responsive, and visually appealing. I'm always looking to grow my personal and professional network.
