About Evie Cottage

I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Music Business and Event Management from BIMM (British Institute of Modern Music), finishing in the top 5% of my class. During my studies, I gained a deep understanding of the music industry, event logistics, business development, and customer service. Last summer, I worked in the production team for Reading Festival cap), Wireless and Finsbury Park Events cap). Festival Republic is behind some of the Biggest Festivals in the United Kingdom and In my previous role, I worked both on and off site, liaising with key contractors and stakeholders to ensure the smooth, safe execution of these events.In addition to my work at Festival Republic, I have gained hands-on experience at other large-scale events and venues. I served as an Event Manager at Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival, managing event operations across three venues and serving audiences of over 3500 people. As Assistant Tour Manager at Love Supreme Festival and volunteering at Glastonbury and Latitude festival, I coordinated communication between artists and production teams, ensuring smooth event execution. I also worked within event logistics at ShyneFest, overseeing ticketing, security, and health and safety.I’m always working to expand my skills. I hold certifications in Emergency First Aid, Counter Terrorism Training, and Security & Evacuation Chair Training, and I’m currently studying British Sign Language (BSL) to make my communication within events more accessible.Music and Event Management are my passions, and I’m always eager to bring my creativity, problem-solving, and team-oriented approach to every project. I’m excited to continue growing my career in the live events and entertainment industry!
