About Faaria Khan

I am a Teaching Fellow at LUMS with a strong academic and applied background in political science, peace studies, and education reform. My experience spans university-level teaching, curriculum development, and qualitative research on minority rights and social justice. Previously, at the Centre for Social Justice, I led and co-authored nationally recognized projects on curriculum review, political manifesto analysis, and educational equity. My work sits at the intersection of academia and policy, grounded in both critical inquiry and field engagement. Holding an MA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Otto-von-Guericke University, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective to issues of inclusion, governance, and identity—areas I seek to explore further through doctoral research. I also write a weekly column for The News International on Sunday where my pieces are centered on traveling and a feminist view of the world. I’m particularly interested in research collaborations, PhD opportunities, and academic networks focused on the Global South, postcolonial politics, and intersectional policy reform.
