About Fabien Villette

I first managed to gain a strong technical expertise (10 years) in the Exploration side through seismic acquisition / processing / interpretation positions and large G&G project management (within Contractor companies then within Total. over 3 continents). I joined the Investment analyst group (coordinator for Middle-East) in 2007 then took the position of Strategy and Economics Manager of Total UK (based in Aberdeen, turnover >1G$) in 2009. I performed investment analysis (for asset/company purchase and disposal, impairment) and lead the strategic long term plan for the subsidiary. I then joined the Development Engineering study group (Asia Pacific) to develop skills in this major/critical step in the Oil and Gas business. I pursued this experience with advance studies being the Lead Development engineer of the Integrated Libra study group (Total Brazilian asset). As "Development Engineering Exploration/DRO Coordinator" I coordinated development studies for Exploration and Discovered Resources Opportunities projects. We managed to organize and homogeneize this process (to prepare the next step: digitalization of the process) I just started a digital transformation project (see current position description) Specialties: Senior Development engineer.
