About Fabio Coco

Fabio was born in 1974 in Catania where he grew up spending time on Europe’s only active volcano Etna. He also spent many days on the sea cliffs of Catania. Outgoing and naturally curious he discovered a natural talent for drawing that led him towards the world of the creative arts and modeling. As a child, he loved playing with building blocks and as teenager he filled entire notepads with sketches and designs. He also built and collected model cars and motorcycles. He was greatly attracted to the birth and spread of what is now widely known as the "Personal Computer". He started with a Commodore VIC20 (do you remember?), switched to the "versatile" C64, continued with the "fantastic" Amiga (DeluxePaint, Imagine) before advancing to the real PC. As you can imagine, the rapid advancement of technological development and application of computers in the field of graphics and illustration were important elements in his technical formation. The super computer gave Fabio an effective way to demonstrate and experiment with his creativity. It also allowed him test the ideas and limitations of others. His professional career is dedicated to meet the needs of the graphic print & web industry, that of 3D architectural modeling and of functional model prototyping He focuses on the needs of graphic design studios, designers, and technical or architectural studios. He has many years of experience in the field of promotional graphics, 3D modeling and characterization with thorough knowledge of more advanced techniques for three-dimensional modeling (polygonal, parametric NURBS). He collaborates with various technical studios both with architectural pre-visualization and in computer-aided prototyping.
