About Farah Anzum

I am a dedicated Climate Change and Energy professional, particularly focusing on strategic communication, with an emphasis on climate impacts, finance, loss and damage and energy transition issues. Building on my dual master’s degrees in Environmental Science and Management, and Climate Change and Development, I aim to develop communication strategies that effectively engage diverse stakeholders, including partners, media, civil society organizations, diplomats, policymakers and youth. My extensive fieldwork in vulnerable communities has deepened my understanding of the tangible effects of climate change and the urgent need for resilient solutions. Currently, as a Strategic Communications Associate at the Global Strategic Communications Council, I lead initiatives around significant climate campaigns, such as Global Climate Strikes and COP events. I work closely with media outlets and climate journalists to amplify local voices, encourage youth activism, and facilitate dialogue on pressing climate issues. I am eager to connect with fellow researchers and practitioners dedicated to climate and energy sector and innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
