To assist Environmental Manager, Environmental Supervisor and Ecological Expert in the implementation of CESMP. • To deliver environmental training and awareness programs as per the schedule.• To conduct daily, weekly, and monthly environmental monitoring requirements that can be conducted in house in compliance with the requirements of CESMP. • To support Environmental Manager, Environmental Supervisor and Ecological Expert in the case of environmental related incidents, non-compliance, or any other matter where course of action is required. • To ensure implementation of the environmental working procedures and plans as necessary for controlling site and associated activities.• To recommend changes to project environmental related management system or plans, as required.• To perform regular site inspections and to ensure compliance with the Company/ Contractor’s Environmental management system, including recommendations for corrective or preventive action where appropriate. • To ensure potentially hazardous substances brought to site are recorded and monitored. • To ensure that all environmental monitoring equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained.• To assist all the members of the project management team to work in environmentally friendly way.• To encourage waste reduction, waste reuse and recycling.
