I am a Senior Research Associate (7th Grade) at the Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management (BIGM), affiliated with the University of Dhaka, currently on study leave to pursue a PhD at Ural Federal University, Russia. I completed my M.Sc. degree in Statistics from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh, in 2018.My doctoral research focuses on examining the impacts of geo-economic uncertainty on financial stress across G20 economies. Broadly, my research interests lie at the intersection of international financial markets, energy and environmental economics, with a strong emphasis on modern econometric techniques and machine learning methods.I have published 30 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and have presented my research at 12 international conferences. In addition to academic publications, I have developed five patented research databases and two digital applications based on my research findings. According to the RePEc author rankings, I am ranked 214th among researchers in Russia working in the field of financial economics.
