About Farouk Kimour

Create new strategy by innovating and disrupting existing technology in parallel which builds competitive advantage by changing business model and delivery. I create a safe environment to foster innovation and new product development, recruit the right people, and lead and empower teams which has resulted in 7 international patents to date. I’m a determined leader and agile negotiator who managed international teams on drilling sites in difficult environments across 10 countries and possess strong commercial acumen and the capacity to leverage technology and innovation to build competitive advantage. Fluent in English and French I graduated with a MBA from INSEAD in January 2021 which I earned through Global Executive MBA programme. My MBA final project was about designing a strategy for my current company by first modelling and predicting the future of the energy industry and especially the future of the oil and gas industry, taking into account different parameters including renewables and the energy transition.
