I'm currently working in a Custom Research Organization that performs pharmacokinetics tests on molecules potentially-drugs. I gained some experience on industrial plants during my work as bitumen emulsion plan supervisor at Alpha Trading Spa. Previously, I spent 18 months in Austria (Boku University-Wien) to do my Master's Thesis and working at the Austrian Center of Industrial Biotechnology (acib GmbH) in Vienna, on a project with the aim of performing the enzymatic degradation of multilayer food-packaging. During the time here I had the chance to work with analitics instruments such as HPLC, GC, GPC, LC-TOF and gaining some experience on them. During my bachelor thesis I was working at the University of Genoa on PRRT2, a newly identified neuron-specific causative gene for a group of paroxysmal disorders including epilepsy. The scientific group in which I worked is lead by Prof. Anna Corradi. I'm also a musician, I have been playing trumpet since I was 11, expecially in Classical Orchestras but also in blues bands. I graduated from conservatory in classical music and I played in various musical ensembles. I also worked as musical teacher in my local music school for 2 years. I think that It helped me to develop my team work skills and to be confortable in front of an audience.
