Over 20 years experience in the hospitality and retail industry (as management and staff) I have had the privilege of being able to staff and plan for events as small as two VIP guests to as large as dinners for individuals. My time working as a banquet captain at the Shaw Conference Center allowed me to be part of many events from concerts, to conventions, to weddings and banquets. Though the Convention Center taught me that planning and forward thinking is what is needed to have a well executed event, it was the Royal Mayfair Golf Course that helped me refine the need for exceptional service through proper training in high end fine dining. While I working in the retail industry I was able to help set up new stores from Calgary all the way to Thunder Bay, Ontario. I use this knowledge of visual merchandising to create well thought out buffet and reception displays that showcase the talents of the many wonderful chefs I have the pleasure and privilege of teaming up with on a continuous basis. I have proven myself with event planning, staging and staffing skills (Meetings, weddings, formal/informal gatherings and receptions). I thrive on anticipating the needs of my clients to ensure their functions run smoothly and well executed from start to finish. From brides with visions of a most magical moment in their life to corporate heads looking to see a well timed and fuss free conferences and meetings, I take pride in knowing the requirements for proper event success. My main objective is to provide each individual I encounter with a lasting impression of dedicated customer service.
