Mining Engineer with solid experience in Supply Chain Management & Logistics. Started at Alcoa Brazil in São Paulo, with the Sales & Marketing team for the bauxite BU, shifting to Supply Chain Supervisor 3 years later. In the latter, acted on Sales & Operations Planning for the Atlantic region, defining the vessels schedules and port inventory control of our operations (Juruti, San Ciprian, Alumar), JV’s (MRN, CBG) and 3rd Party customers. Recognized for my contributions, I assumed responsibility for consolidating the Global view of the bauxite business, becoming the primary point of contact worldwide and alternate member of CBG’s and MRN’s Commercial Committee’s. In 2022, while pursuing specialization studies in Supply Chain Management at MITx, I broadened my knowledge on this subject and pivoted my career to logistics. As EMEA’s Commercial Transportation Manager in Rotterdam, I have been successfully orchestrating the optimal delivery strategy of raw materials, alumina and aluminum products to customers/plants by adeptly contracting transportation solutions and managing its operations, which includes warehouse storage, handling and diverse transport modes (trucks, trains, barges). Such success is supported by our increased on-time delivery performance while capturing savings and cost avoidance for Alcoa. Also, actively working on low-carbon (or zero) emissions initiatives which aligns with the company’s long term ESG goals.
