About Fiona Cameron

I have 12 years experience working in BPO. Starting my career as an advisor then spent 4 years as a Learning & Development Specialist, which consisted of delivering client process training right the way through to go live, followed with coaching when taking calls. I was also responsible for upskilling and delivering training sessions to existing staff and management during this time. I also gained experience in managing projects and working closely with the client when I became a senior development specialist. I then moved into the PMO team, starting in a Coordinator role then becoming a project manager after 4 years. This involved work closely with my team but also on a global level. My tasks were varied from providing support to my colleagues on their projects, being involved in improving our processes, framework and methodology. I regularly got involved in multiple forums, across the globe, with a variety of stakeholders. I was responsible for the governance aspect across the team sharing accurate and up to date reporting to multiple stakeholders. Along with managing our action logs from the calls, holding people accountable. This involves being very organised and having great communication skills. I also have experience in change management, from improving our internal process to managing changes, either internal or a client request which has involved me interacting with our clients regularly. After 6 years in the PMO team I have moved into Client Services running the overall governance.
