About Florian Gerth
I am a researcher in financial macroeconomics and time-series econometrics. My research asks on the one hand, how access, availability and usage of the financial sector contributes to economic development. And on the other, what role the monetary authority plays in distributing financial capital to its most efficient use. In order to do this, I have been working with DSGE, Time-Series Econometric (CVAR, VECM, ARCH/GARCH models), Panel Data models, and productivity decomposition techniques using a subset of statistical software packages like Matlab, R, Julia, OxMetrics, Stata, SAS and EViews. Ultimately my research aims towards the macro-financial linkages within an economy.
