About Florian Guyot

I’m a purpose-driven General Manager, INSEAD Global Executive MBA candidate (’26), and former public-policy adviser to the French Minister of Finance who believes business discipline can change lives. For the past six years I’ve had the privilege of leading Aurore, a 150-year-old NGO where 2 800 colleagues work every day to provide housing, healthcare, and jobs to people facing homelessness and extreme poverty. Since taking the helm in 2019, I have expanded Aurore’s reach by 40 percent across France, opening new shelters, medical clinics, and social enterprises to tackle emerging forms of poverty. A complete digital transformation — €5 million invested in shared data and mobile tools—now allows front-line teams to spend far more time with residents and far less on paperwork. One of my strongest memories is how our teams pulled together during Covid-19, caring for more than 1 affected shelter residents while standing up new services to cushion the pandemic’s impact on people in extreme hardship. Earlier in my career I shaped housing- and labour-market reforms at France’s Ministry of Finance and advised on national-development strategies from Paris to the Dominican Republic. Those chapters taught me to move comfortably between C-suites, parliaments, and port workers—skills I now channel into purpose-led growth and inclusive-economy projects. Away from work you’ll usually find me mentoring policy students, running long miles along the Seine, hiking the Alpine trails I grew up on, or drafting my next book on systemic poverty.
