About Franck Ranera

With over 10 years of experience in the geo-intelligence industry, I am a passionate and driven Senior Manager for Government Solutions at ICEYE, the global leader in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology. My mission is to develop the analysis capability of public sector agencies leading disaster management operations, using the world's largest SAR constellation and cutting-edge AI/ML tools. I believe in delivering innovative and impactful solutions that can save lives, protect the environment, and enhance security. In my current role, I am responsible for generating leads and managing the existing sales pipeline, as well as developing key relationships with government and institutional stakeholders. I leverage my extensive knowledge and skills in satellite imagery, disaster management, and financial analysis to create and present compelling value propositions, negotiate contracts, and close deals. I also contribute to the product development and marketing strategy, providing feedback and insights from the market and customers. Previously, I was a Sales Manager at Serco, where I was part of the executive leadership board and led the business development of cloud-based platforms for earth observation services. I also have experience as a Business Development Manager at Airbus, where I promoted the full geo-intelligence portfolio in South America, especially in Peru. Most important, I had a manager role in the preparation of the Copernicus Emergency management service defining its operational model and products protfolio. This service is today the European EO satellite answer towards national authorities impacted by a disaster.
