About Franklin M. Ruff

The month of October is a special month. In October of 2004 I was licensed to preach the Gospel. In October of 2009 I was ordained, and In October 2013 I preached my first sermon as the Pastor of First Baptist Church Greensburg KS. Before accepting the call to pastor First Baptist I served as an associate minister, minister of Christian Education, and youth minister. I developed biblically based Christian Education programs for adults and youth. I currently attend Ashland Theological Seminary perusing a Doctor of Ministry Degree in Homiletics. I am focusing on cross cultural preaching, and preaching to different personality temperaments. I hope to use my preaching and teaching skills to help ministers as well and lay people to develop their gifts. I have also been involved in education, training & development for 13 years. During that time I delivered numerous keynote addresses. I delivered presentations on effective communications in the workplace, how to deal with different personalities, leadership, and effective coaching. I worked with high school students on putting together plans for success during and after high school. I also worked with the students on how to find money to finance their college education.
