I currently hold the position of Service Manager for Parking and Environmental Enforcement at Worcester City Council. I manage a team comprising of supervisors, a technical back office team and Civil Enforcement officers. I lead a team to ensure that Worcester City Council is at the leading edge when dealing with Parking issues, Environmental issues such as littering, Public Space protection Orders, community protection Notices, flytipping and abandoned vehicles. I have first hand experience in strategic issues relating to staffing and productivity. Past experience I have frontline knowledge and experience with Counter terrorism in London. Also maintaining armed security at high profile and key locations, also ensuring the safety of high profile politicians and diplomats. I have detailed knowledge of firearms and tactical decisions regarding the use of firearms in demanding situations in law enforcement and counter terrorism. I hold extensive knowledge and experience in working with licenced premises ensuring licence holders and DPS adhere to the conditions of issued licence's. I have worked closely with local authorities to review and issue alcohol licence's and Hackney carriage licence's. I have an extensive background in ASB reduction, community safety and leadership in youth engagement. I have gained extensive training in sports engagement with the youth community, and have led initiatives in Camden Council in reducing crime and the fear of crime. I hold a pursuit driving qualification and have experience and knowledge in advanced driving techniques in a policing environment. I am a qualified police driving Assessor. I have extensive experience and knowledge in public order events including Evictions, high profile sports events and London riots.
