Experience; I have over 20 years policing experience including 18 years in the field of Criminal Investigation. I have accumulated approximately 21 Months of relieving experience as an Acting Detective Sergeant – Team Leader. I have worked as a Detective within several Police Area and State Crime Commands. Skills; I am a capable and experienced investigator and leader. I have proficient verbal and written communication and pride myself on the ability to provide concise briefings and debriefings. I work well within a team environment and promote ideas and feedback from staff around me. Performance; In my time at The Office of the Special Investigator and Cyber Crime Squad - State Crime Command I have managed several Eaglei investigations as the Officer in Charge. I have used covert and overt strategies to achieve my goals in conjunction with other specialist Commands. These investigations have obtained positive results at court and within the community. I promote general pro activity within my office and manage several sources. I have received Commander and Region Commendations for my performance throughout several major investigations. Investigation has been of great interest to me since joining the NSW police in August 2002. I feel I possess the appropriate skill set and experience to perform a required role to a capable and professional standard and be of a positive benefit to any organisation.
