Working in Fire safety since 1993 I have a wealth of experience in leadership, teaching, and training in all aspects of fire service operations and fire safety inspections. I am committed to continuous personal development and always seek to improve my knowledge and skills, maintaining an up to date understanding of new fire safety regulations and products. I work autonomously, manage teams and train colleagues taking pride in treating everyone with fairness, empathy and respect. I am a highly self-motivated communicator with a strong work ethic that works well in highly pressurised environments, with good decision-making abilities, tactical and strategic in my approach in tackling situations in offering the right solutions and course of action. Consulting Services Include but limited to: 1. Fire risk assessor- using PAS 79 methodology across a wide range of buildings, ensuring businesses are compliant under the fire safety order 2005 (RRO) and fire safety regulations (England). That fire-fighting equipment, signs, lighting and any other aspects of prevention and protection are in accordance with British standards, DCLG guidance notes and other other guidance. Fire door inspections- In accordance with BS 8214, BS and the Fire safety order (RRO) and fire safety (England)regulations 2022, that businesses are meeting their legal obligations and securing that fire doors, which are engineered fire safety devices, continuously protect the integral parts of the escape route. First aid instructor – I am qualified to train and certify regulated first aid courses which include- first aid at work, emergency first aid at work, oxygen therapy, catastrophic bleeding, pediatrics, anaphylaxis, defibrillators and I also hold an internal quality assurance qualification to provide annual monitoring of other first aid instructors. Fire warden training instructor, to train fire wardens/Marshalls/stewards to a level 2 competent standard, covering all aspects of protection, prevention and escape, which ensures employers are meeting statutory requirements, including- The hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace, how fire risk is controlled in the workplace, the role of the nominated fire warden, the principles and practice of fire safety management at work. Fire safety awareness training, to give an awareness to all employees to level 1 in basic fire safety awareness, creating a safer working environment.
