In my current role as a Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator, I have successfully managed the onboarding process for over 100 new hires across Adventist Healthcare in the Maryland district, ensuring each individual is fully equipped and prepared to start their new role. I lead onboarding for new hires, seasonal employees, and contingent workers, managing all stages from 'Ready to Hire' to completion. This includes overseeing health assessments, background checks, reference verifications, sanctions screenings, HR document collection, and troubleshooting any issues that arise throughout the process. I serve as the primary liaison between new hires and hiring managers, from the moment a candidate accepts their job offer to their first day of orientation and beyond. I have delivered presentations at orientation, gaining expertise in Workday, and have successfully onboarded international nurses and managed CNA academy programs. Additionally, I oversee general orientation preparation, including badge creation, clearance tracking, and coordination with leaders and the recruitment team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. I also provide backup support for administrative operations, guest services, and seamless visitor check-ins. I have also demonstrated dedication to the Nurse Residency Program, overseeing 50+ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students, which has not only provided personal fulfillment but also opened doors for further professional opportunities in my current role. Furthermore, I lead team bonding initiatives to boost morale and contribute to a positive work environment, helping with team integration. I am proficient in HR systems such as Workday, Certiphi, Skill Survey, Streamline Verify, and ATS systems.
