About Geoff Crane

Hi, I’m Geoff! Back in 2009, I left a career in investment banking technology to pursue an undergraduate degree in psychology. I thought for sure I'd go back to banking but it turns out I'm way better suited to academia. I'm working on my PhD now. Alongside my academic journey, I am extremely privileged to oversee hundreds of bleeding-edge AI projects each year in my position in Trent's AMOD department. This work gives me a front-row seat to the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, and the results continue to astonish me. For over a decade, my team and I have been developing “personal intelligence”—an expanded model of emotional intelligence. By pairing this research with cutting-edge AI, we’ve created razor-sharp predictive models of individual behavior. From a single assessment, we can reveal how you show up to work, the dangerous pitfalls you might encounter, and the hidden strengths that can help you overcome them. We’ve also integrated the latest in soft skill research to design tailored training programs that give people a real competitive edge. At the heart of everything my team and I do is a desire to make emotional insights more accessible and actionable, whether it’s through our assessments, coaching reports, programming and curriculum, or conversations with industry leaders.
