Geoff is an experienced Non-Executive Director of ASX listed, private company and Not for Profit Boards with Asian and global operational reach across a range of sectors including: Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology & Innovation, Transport, Supply Chain & Logistics; Telecommunications, Property, Energy, the Arts & Professional Services. Geoff's current portfolio of NED roles includes HSBC Bank Australia (NED, Audit Comm Chair), Future Generation Global Investment Company (NED, Audit & Risk Comm Chair), Nanosonics (NED, Audit & Risk Comm Chair, Nominations Comm member), TOLL Holdings (NED, Audit & Risk Comm Chair), Sydney Symphony Orchestra (NED, Audit Committee member), and ipSCAPE. Previously, Geoff was COO for KPMG Asia Pacific from Oct 2013 to Aug 2017, relocating to Hong Kong to execute this role. He was responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of KPMG’s regional business comprising 20 countries and over people and reporting directly to the Non-Executive Chairman and Board. Geoff was a member of the KPMG Global Leadership Team, KPMG Asia Pacific Board and Executive Committee, and KPMG Capital. Geoff’s key focus was aligning the regional strategic and operational agenda to the firm’s global strategy and growth agenda. He previously Chaired the Asia Pacific Growth Strategy Committee and was a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee. Geoff previously held the position of CEO for KPMG Australia from 2008 to 2013, having held numerous leadership roles including National Managing Partner of Audit from 2001, a member of the Global Audit Steering Group from 2001-08 and member of the National Executive Committee from 2002-13. Geoff also completed a successful secondment to KPMG Silicon Valley from 1997 to 2001, working with a variety of technology companies. Geoff is a founding member of the Male Champions of Change, a former Board member of the Sydney Festival, the Australian Business and Community Network; and the Society for Knowledge Economics, a former member of the Chairman’s panel for the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, Knox Grammar School Council, the Australian School of Business Advisory Council, Alumni Leaders Network for University of NSW and President of the UNSW Hong Kong Business Alumni Network Committee. Geoff is also an Ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation.
