About George Paschalidis

In July 2015 I graduated first in my class from the Hellenic Air Force Academy. After graduation, I spent six years at Araxos Airbase, where I worked first as a Maintenance Aircraft manager and then as a Lead Quality Assurance engineer. Parallel to my job in October 2020 I joined the Master's program "Information Processing Systems and Machine Intelligence" at the University of Patras. In December 2021 I resigned from my job to fully focus on my Master's studies, which I completed with honors in November 2022. My research interests so far are Computer Vision, Human Modelling, and Machine learning and my future goal is to follow a career path as an AI researcher. During my career, I always strive for the best results, either while pursuing academic excellence during my studies, or performing at my very best as an engineer. As a result, although AI is considered one of the most competitive research fields in general I am fully motivated to succeed and meet my expectations.
