About George Powell

About Me I'm George Powell, and I help run the Wrexham Miners Project with a team of incredible volunteers and have spent the last few years helping restore our building which is a cornerstone of our community's history. We are in need of substantial investment from local businesses and I would love to welcome you down to our building to show you not only the vast history of the Miners Rescue Station and what an integral part the building played in the mining community of years gone by, but also show you the vast community work we do for children and young adults with learning difficulties. Our mission is to safeguard our local history, one brick at a time, while fostering sustainable community re-development. I am deeply committed to revitalising a building that means so much to so many people and continues to be of huge benefit to our community. You can make a real difference, please check out our website and get in touch if you would like to lend your support. Seeking Investment Partners 🤝 We are on the lookout for like-minded local businesses who understand the value of preserving our cultural legacy.
