About Georgina Mathews

With over 20 years of experience in the catering and events industry, I am passionate about providing exceptional service, quality, and value to my clients. I have a strong background in selling and executing premier wedding receptions, large social gatherings, corporate events, and a variety of other market segments. I am currently the Director of Catering and Events at The Standard Club, a prestigious private club in Atlanta, where I lead a team of professionals in planning and delivering flawless events that exceed expectations. In my current role, I use my advanced knowledge of competing venues, market trends, and customer needs to maintain or exceed budgeted booking goals and revenue in all special event areas. I also have a seamless transition from sales to event execution, ensuring that every detail is taken care of and every challenge is resolved. I have developed strong relationships with clients, vendors, and venues, and I am always looking for new opportunities to expand my network and showcase my expertise. Some of the skills that I use daily are catering sales, event planning, executing events, and venue management.
