About Gerald Boyles

My experience and education has created a very broad range of experience and knowledge from pc troubleshooting (software and hardware), network administration, application programming, database administration, and database programming. I'm very flexible to radical change in technologies and specific skills. My belief is that I'm an excellent individual that can bring a broad range of experience and expertise to the best companies. I am a dedicated individual who believes in company standards and will always bring the best service to clients/customers as well as internal users. I'm a mentor and a teacher for everyone; willing to help everyone with anything. There is not a technology that I would back away from but rather learn about. I am a very quick learner and possess a high intelligence for logic and thinking patterns to troubleshoot and resolve issues. I don’t know the meaning of no or can’t. I have a developed in my careers a unique troubleshooting skill that not many people possess. I am persistant and stubborn to find solutions that work no matter the issue or the extra time needed to find them. There is always a solution when computers are involved. There are exceptions to that rule, but not many. I'm versed in most programming languages, and have routinely helped developers find troublesome code. My greatest skill is bringing databases "back to life", and without revealing my techniques in a public forum, I will only say that I've only lost a few databases due to total system failures and no backups available.
