About Gerard Mannix

I have experience working in the Private and Public services for well over 15 years. I enjoy being a team player and count my organization and communication skills at the highest professional standard, I am adaptable and always show willingness to learn. I have extensive experience working within IT, central and academic service departments- My main goals in my working career is to complete my job to the best of my ability, to have enjoyable working relationships with my work colleagues/students while ensuring that all of my tasks and deadlines are met in an orderly fashion- I enjoy working with different University computer packages and the most important thing to me is that the people I deal with private or public always feel that I'm approachable and helpful. I pride myself on my skills, accuracy and adaptability using systems and also with my interpersonal approach with colleagues and external stakeholders- I have completed a H-Dip & PG Cert in Coaching Psychology. This is an area I love working in and I'm currently on the UCC Internal Coaching Panel and on the UCC CoachCast Podcast within the UCC HR Staff Well-being project and have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Personal & Management Coaching. I am a registered member of the Association for Coaching (AOC). I have a wide range of transferable skills within a professional environment. I have also completed and am a registered Mediator with Mediators Institute of Ireland.
