About Gerardo Hernandez
I am now a graduate of UIC. I have a bachelor’s in Nutrition Science. I am currently in the Accelerated Masters Coordinated Program (MSCP) striving to earn my Master’s in Nutrition! I am currently preparing to do my rotations. I am still walking the path to become a Registered Dietitian (RDN). My 4 years at the University of Illinois at Chicago was filled with Nutrition and different STEM classes. I learned so much and I am still eager to gain more knowledge! Although I don't work currently, I volunteer consistently at my local Food pantry every Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Thanks to the opportunity given to me by the food pantry, I was also able to be certified as a Food Safety Manager by "ServSafe."
