About Gerhard Hein

In my 28 year career I have had several roles in software and product development. In total I have more than 15 year experience as project manager, scrum master or team leader of product/software development teams. In addition I have 10 year experience in engineering roles like embedded software developer, test coordinator, architect. I have focused on quality management in the most recent years. As a result I also have 3 year experience in the QA/RA field divided over 2 year as QA/RA employee in the medical industry and 1 year being project manager of the AVG (GDPR) introduction and also had the role of safety engineer in a railway project. In my last job as QA/RA Consultant I supported ICT with successfully extending the certification of the QMS (ISO 13485, IEC 62304) and the CE certification of a medical software product (MDD class 2A). When serving as project manager for inTraffic I managed several railway control software projects resulting in software running successfully on railway control posts of ProRail in the Netherlands. Before that I was software or multidisciplinary project manager for the development of products for customers like Rijkswaterstaat, TNO, OCE and ASML. My main engineering experience lies in the development of embedded software/systems for vital sign monitoring at the start of my career. I’m open for QA/RA or project management jobs in a product or software development environment. Jobs like QA/RA officer, QA/RA manager, quality engineer or (software) project manager.
