Technical and Entrepreneurial Business Executive All I needed to know about successful business, I learned growing up on our high output family farm including: how to get things done, how to solve problems, how to innovate, how to prioritize, how to work smarter not harder, and how to work with people. I have always been an organization builder and innovator with an interest in product design and taking new products through manufacturing and to market. I have held leadership positions working in small, medium, and large companies such as Boeing, Plantronics, Epson, Canon, and TableSafe. My experience includes building domestic and international design, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, administration, and business development teams. My award-winning designs have received national media attention. I was able to share my skills as a consultant and mentor to over 200 business leaders desiring to increase their companies bottom lines by improving processes and increasing sales. My clients were in electronics, computer, aerospace, automotive, medical, metal, plastic, wood, food, and agriculture industries. We worked to improve all company functions. However, the biggest learning opportunity for me was starting and running new businesses. I started my first business by purchasing and operating a harvesting machine at age 14 to pay for college. Other startups were consumer product design/manufacturing, B2B technical value added service, and controlled environment produce production. I have the flexibility to do hands-on tactical work or high-level strategic work. Much of my success is due to my ability plan forward and organize while connecting and working with people. I believe that the more experiences that you have, the more creative you are. Because of this, I have striven to obtain a broad work experience and have many interests outside of work. I am positive, cheerful and approachable. I enjoy moving forward and working with the people and challenges involved.
