About Gert Maritz
Passionate about people and process. As a logical and analytical person, I’ve always enjoyed the problem-solving nature of engineering. I’ve been fortunate to have spent most of my career at Lithon Project Consultants, where I get to do what I love and do good for the world at the same time. I joined the company as an engineer in 2005, before becoming Director of Civil and Transport in 2009. In my current role as CEO, I manage a guide a workforce of 30 people. I’m passionate about helping individuals understand their purpose in the company and have spearheaded an internal leadership programme focused on career growth and personal development.
