Background
About Gillian Forth
As a coach, I provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals to discover how to take ownership over their life journey and show up in the way they want to in their personal and professional lives. I work with people in various places along their journey, as they navigate career transitions, overcome obstacles, and build meaningful lives and careers. My ultimate goal is to support individuals in cultivating the tools and mindset that will help them pursue meaningful and fulfilling lives and careers that bring them joy and satisfaction. In my current role as Specialisterne's Workplace Support Program Manager, I work with neurodivergent folks as they transition into new roles and workplaces and provide support to employees and managers navigating various workplace challenges. I also work with hiring managers and people managers to support them in making workplaces more inclusive, accessible spaces for neurodiverse teams. I have enjoyed working in the non-profit sector for 8 years, specifically in client experience and engagement, group facilitation, DEI, and operations. I have my certificate in Adult Education and I am currently enrolled in Canada Coach Academy's Performance Coach Certification program, with the goal to become ICF certified in 2023. I am looking forward to continuing to develop my coaching, adult facilitation, and learning experience design expertise. My passion for gender equality and advocating with 2SLGBTQIAA+ communities compelled me to pursue post-grad research. My graduate studies focused on 20th century Queer history in North America, specifically the evolution of Toronto Pride celebrations. I am a proud Queer, neurodivergent, woman. I am energized and motivated when I am learning from others and engaging in meaningful work. I seek opportunities to challenge myself personally and professionally and to step outside of my comfort zone. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to develop my own skills and gain new experiences, so give me shout, I'd love to connect!
