About Gina Lauri

After spending many years working as a teacher, I realized that while I loved helping children, I was ready for a new challenge—one that would allow me to continue advocating for kids in a more impactful way. This led me to transition to a non-profit organization focused on supporting children with cancer, where I have been able to combine my passion for helping young people with my desire to make a broader difference. In my new role, I’m thrilled to be stepping into the world of development, where I’ll be focusing on fundraising and building meaningful partnerships. I’m excited to learn from some of the best in the business, sharpening my skills in philanthropy while raising funds to send children with cancer and their siblings to camp on Long Island—an opportunity that allows them to escape their medical challenges and experience joy and normalcy. I’m deeply committed to advocating for children, and this role is the perfect fit for me as I continue my journey to help make a real difference in their lives. Through fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement, I look forward to supporting children and their families in new, powerful ways.
