1987 - 2021 34 Years and still learning upgrading, improving. is a never ending story. Having to adapt to the pandemic and also my wife's ongoing fight with cancer brings new challenges, probably toughest period of my life. As always resilliance to change is the key. I have no control over the pandemic I have no control over the cancer but they are real they are happening and it means I have to adapt and embrace the situation as best I can. Risk assessment - pandemic - as I grow as a manager my priority is my people, they are my enablers they make things happen but they are suffering from Isolation and separation. Proud to say we have supported Work From Home from remote out of country locations and sent key employees home to their familes with the connectivity enabled so that they are still contributing and adding value. ST is looking after key assets As for Shameen's cancer - so glad of the support and understanding of friends and colleagues this is again a new territory but my work experience is also a strength I can pull on, understanding the testing scenario, the probabilities, how to assess assumptions, how to step back listen and understand the problem, the containment, the corrective action and now the preventive action somehow helps, reducing the emotional impact with fact based reasoning Is my way of staying strong so I can support her in this fight. She is strong and brave, the prognosis is good we now execute the plan. After a year working in France with Front End Manufacturing Central quality team very humbled but very proud to be entrusted to lead the quality team and quality systems back in Singapore. Massive challenges ahead as we introduce and ramp up transfered and new technologies while maintaining our yield and improving our standing with our customers. UPDATE 2017 30 years in constantly evolvimg industry. What more will I see in the years to come? UPDATE 2013 Hard work and perseverance combined with the realisation that change is the only constant will get you recognised in your career. Change cannot be stopped and embracing this and influencing your team to accept this is the key to successful management.
