About Gordon R.

In my 7 years experience as a product designer, I have been lucky to have worked on a variety of fascinating projects. I graduated in 2011 from Massey University with a Bachelor of Design majoring in Industrial Design, winning a Best of the Best Red Dot Concept Award for my final year project, with a trip to Singapore to be presented the award. I have been fortunate to have joined Blender in 2022 as a Product Design Engineer, allowing me to be a part of an awesome team, solving challenging problems and creating beautiful, functional, and high quality products as a result. Having had consultancy experience in the past has helped me develop my expertise across the whole design process. I find the most interesting parts of the process to be the learning and exploring the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ about a product, and creating a tangible, real solution.
