About Grace Martin

With over ten years of professional experience in various roles and industries, I am a strategic and supportive executive assistant with expertise in human resources and marketing. I currently work at the Barber National Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges. In my role, I act as the point of contact among the executive vice president, organizational leadership, coordinators, employees, and external stakeholders. I maintain the EVP's calendar, draft and review communications, and develop and update a wide range of materials, including presentations, speeches, newsletters, blog entries, social media posts, and educational brochures. I also leverage my HR and marketing skills to contribute to business planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and outreach initiatives. I hold the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) and SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials, and I am proficient in various software applications, such as Workday, WordPress, and Adobe Premier Rush. I am passionate about creating positive and productive work environments, building inclusive and collaborative teams, and delivering high-quality and impactful content. I am flexible, adaptable, and resilient in a post-pandemic business landscape, and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
