About Grace Quantock

I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor, member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, an award-winning international wellness expert, coach, author and motivational speaker. The founder of Onwards Together Therapy Ltd and author of Living Well with Chronic Illness: Write your own roadmap to healing in tough times (Orion Spring, Hachette). With experience in scrutiny and governance at national board level and personal experience as disabled woman working in wellness advocacy, I bring a uniquely integrated view to governance work. I bring my commitment to communication, learning and innovation along with my leadership and strategic abilities, collaboration skills, and industry expertise in community building, health and social care. My field of study in systemic work enables me to work effectively across systems and organisational boundaries to help create environments for people to thrive, in which their mental and physical health is optimised.Awards include a Future Young Leader of Wales Award and nominated for Britain’s Top Real Role Model, Entrepreneur Wales Awards & multiple award winner of Great British Entrepreneur Awards.Featured in The Times, The Huffington Post and Positive News and has been a speaker at The HayFestival and an internationally acclaimed TEDx talk.My research interests include intersectional inclusion, dissociation and embodiment, trauma-informed technology, digital inclusion in healthcare, and supporting attachment for folks in marginalised bodies through complex, cascading trauma.
