About Grace Reid

I joined the localization industry as a Project Manager in August 2021 after completing my MSc in T Translation at Heriot-Watt University. Through this I gained experience in translation from Italian and Spanish to English. I have a specific interest and experience in subtitling along with journalistic and cultural translation. Since becoming a Project Manager I have worked at 2 different companies and gained lots of varied experience from both. In addition to the linguistic aspects of the job, I have also worked regularly with developers and engineers on software. I am dedicated to specific clients allowing me to understand their business needs and identify ways to simplify their localization requirements with the aim of saving effort, time and money. Collaborating daily with teams of high quality linguists and engineers with whom I have a common love of language and technology allows me to use a combination of fit-for-purpose translations and technical expertise to deliver high quality content.
