Adept at managing operations and taking the initiative to strengthen community relations in any environment. I am a young professional and recent college graduate with a background in marketing, communications, event planning, and in building strong partnerships and strategic relationships. Upon graduation from Samford University in 2023, I ventured north for a one-year professional leadership development program in Charlottesville, Virginia that ends in late May of 2024. I am currently seeking career opportunities in New York City, where I want to live and build my career. During my time at Samford University, I served on the admissions social media team for Samford, creating engaging content for prospective students and curating marketing campaigns to share Samford experiences and stories. I was in campus leadership positions planning and executing social events. I further developed my leadership skills while being a youth mentor where I served as a high school girls leader for three years, as well as leading the team in planning and executing 2 events weekly, ranging from intimate gatherings to large scale programming. Through these and other involvements, I was able to develop my strengths as a leader, relationship-builder, and communicator. I have a passion for creativity, communication, and marketing. While in college, I had the opportunity to work alongside creative entrepreneur Eliza Bishop, helping to add social media content to Eliza’s custom wedding invitations and stationery business, which has been featured in Southern Living, Veranda magazine, and Style Me Pretty. While serving in these creative capacities, I fell in love with marketing, artistic design, and storytelling. I love networking, making connections, and hosting gatherings. I enjoy Florida beaches, cooking new and old family recipes, and a well-designed tablescape for any dinner party.
