About Graham MacKenzie

I am a versatile and experienced Technicial Projects Office and at present I’m working for East Lothian Council on projects up to £21m, having previously worked with private architects and for major house builders. Having worked with many types of construction I am currently working on projects including Concrete, Steel and Timber frames, using skills from some of my previous rolls which included the research & development for offsite prefabrication and the use of different renewable energy methods. I currently work in both 2D & 3D with current versions of AutoCAD and Sketchup drawing packages and I am quickly getting to grips with Revit and BIM. I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and my specialties include: Design, development & detailing of: domestic properties, commercial premises, care homes, medical centres & local authority buildings. Design for Dementia & Care for the elderly Co-ordination & inspection of construction works from a brief to completion. A wide ranging ability in IT I am adapt in 2D & 3D drafting & co-ordination of information into drawings, reports, handouts & presentations.
