Welcome to my profile! Currently, I’m a scientific programmer/analyst in the Ocean Ecology Lab at NASA Goddard. My primary activities include algorithm development for the NASA PACE mission, and database organization for field data used for PACE calibration/validation activities. Prior to working at NASA I was a graduate student at UConn, where I researched marine microplastic optical and genomic properties, along with time series analyses of ocean color satellite data to look for microplastic signal. Going back even further we have a few NASA internships, along with research I did at Cornell using machine learning to discriminate grapevine variety in hyperspectral remote sensing imagery.
