About Grant Gibson

I believe every one should find a career that best suits their passion in life and pushes them to be better everyday. I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Schneider School of Business at Saint Norbert College with a passion for strategy and creativity. These two skills led me to concentrate my effort on the field of Marketing. I grew up with two older brothers who fed my competitive nature. We were always playing sports or board games and enjoyed the art of trying to outwit one another. Always being resourceful to find that move that the others never saw coming. Whether it is a well-calculated action, a risky decision, or simply working the hardest, I always love to find the most optimal way to achieve my goal. This passion for strategy fueled my love for marketing. As a marketer, I define my target market and optimally utilize my resources to reach them. All while being more efficient than my competition. I find this form of strategic thinking exciting and part of what I love to do in my everyday life. When I was young, I had a dream of becoming an artist. Creating has always brought me much joy in life. Although I am not an artist by trade, I still try to find ways to be creative in my everyday life. I have many creative hobbies, such as painting, photography, woodworking, and digital design. My girlfriend, who studied architecture and design at the University of Minnesota, taught me to use the Adobe creative suite as we opened a sticker business called Blooming Design Decals. I now apply this knowledge to my current position at Vande Hey Company. I use my design skills to develop creative marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and move our customers to action. I enjoy my marketing career because it allows me to apply my passions to my daily job. I look forward to continuing to develop strategies that find creative ways to achieve the goals of my company.
