I am a lecturer and researcher in the area of dementia care. My own research areas cover two major areas. The use of technology within dementia care, and experiences of using technology among people with dementia and their informal carers 2. Older men's health; the intersection of masculinity and ageing in older men's lives and their implications for older men's health and illness States. I have worked on a number of research studies investigating both dementia care and care of people with Parkinson's disease. I also teach on the MSc dementia studies at the University of Stirling.
